Visual Magnetism
is an interdisciplinary art and science project made in total collaboration with Matthew Forkin, a fellow artist and engineer. It showcases the remarkable visual and physical properties of ferrofluid, allowing the viewer to manipulate the fluid in the display tank with powerful magnets. A live video projection from a perpendicular viewing angle is shown on the ceiling, providing a full exploration of the fluid’s behavior.
