Casting & Moldmaking course

$150 covers registration and all necessary materials
Making replicates of common objects by creating molds and casting into them is an ancient practice in both art and industry. Students will learn the basics of casting from life and from object models. Class time will be a combination of educational demonstration and hands-on creation of molds and castings. Castings will be made in plaster, resin, rubber and plastic, all safe materials and easy to work with. By the end of the course, students will come away with four unique cast pieces.
